Try to keep to a steady sleep cycle while in college. Between social activities, work, and classes, college students are bound to not get enough sleep. Sleep helps you to focus and restores energy needed for the day ahead.

Going to college should be about getting an education but keep in mind that college is also a place where you will have an opportunity to make some new friends and develop your personality. Develop solid studying habits. Leave the partying and socializing at the door for a few hours (at least) every day. Put off getting a credit card until you are finished with college if you can possibly do so. If you don’t, you may wind up with a card that has an elevated interest rate.
